The Black Maxi: Po's Look

A little lace, a little denim and a lot of skirt...  This is my favorite errands/grocery store/Sunday morning look because it looks like you bothered but feels like you didn't.   This skirt makes sweatpants feel restrictive and can be paired with just about anything.  I've worn it with everything from a white collared shirt for work to a vintage t and vest at a concert.  Here I've kept things really simple with just a lace t, chambray shirt and the most important Sunday morning accessory -- a cup of coffee.

Wishing you a comfortable and relaxing weekend.

<3,

Emy & Po

Weekend Brunch: Emily's Look

Although fashion and getting dressed-up are a part of life, especially in a big city like New York, casual / comfortable styles are by far the most me. So when it comes to weekends, I don't mess around - if I can't walk 3+ miles in it, can't eat eggs benedict and/or a substantial cheeseburger in it, and can't roll around in the grass in the middle of Central Park in it, it's probably not going to make it into my weekend wardrobe. Here is an outfit I wore recently to a casual weekend brunch - walkable shoes (check), loose / super-soft T-shirt (check), already-grass-stained cut-offs (check) - all in all, the perfect weekend ensemble. ;)

Spring Blazers: Po's Look

This is my favorite blazer of the season - mostly because the black and white stripes look great with red lipstick (my current obsession) - but it doesn't hurt that it's comfortable, lightweight and looks adorable with almost anything.  Here I'm wearing it with a white lace t-shirt, but it can just as easily be dressed down with jeans or made a little more office appropriate with a dress or black maxi skirt (something about white see through lace doesn't say HR friendly). I kept the jewelry to a minimum, but topped everything off with Chanel's Rouge Coco lipstick in Gabrielle and some oversized sunglasses.

Everything I'm wearing is currently available in stores (apologies to my savings account) and the links for each are below.  I hope you enjoy! :)
